Vista del Sol is a one of a kind casa perched high on the hill above the Hotel Lagunita. The casa faces the sunset and the views of the bay, beach, village are among the best of Yelapa. Hike down to the beach in 5 minutes or simply stay in our very private retreat and relax in the pool as you gaze out toward the ocean, follow the para gliders and many species of birds as they float across the sky or, simply recline in a lounger and read a good book...

Built in the 1970's, Vista del Sol has a traditional palapa style palm thatched roof, tile floors, brightly painted walls and is open to the beautiful views from almost every angle within the casa. Wake up to the sun spilling out toward the bay from the river, watch the colorful trogons, beautiful hummingbirds, McCaws and Solitary Eagles as you begin your day in paradise.

Vista del Sol is wonderfully quiet and serene. The casita upstairs offers fantastic views of the bay and river as you lie in the hanging bed....There is also a twin bed in the casita. Downstairs there is one private bedroom with a full size suspended bed, a private garden sleeping area with queen size hanging bed and other sleeping areas in the main sala or living room. There is complete supply of wonderful linens, blankets and towels. In all, we can comfortably accommodate 8 people. The casa is very spacious!

The bath house is a separate building with palapa style roof and contains a toilet, sunken bath/shower combination as well as attached laundry facilities and a secure bodega to store valuables. We also have an outdoor shower in the rock garden for the more adventurous and for those who need to wash off salt and sand from the beach before going in the pool.

The kitchen (cocina) is fully stocked and has a new refrigerator and stove, a bar and plenty of counter space for preparing great meals.

Last, but not least, the casa is surrounded by patios and beautiful bougainvillea plants.

Other amenities include: optional telephone and wireless Internet (dial up), MP3 CD player with IPod connection, hammocks, fans, mosquito netting for all beds, washing machine, maid service and other delivery services as needed.
