I recently learned that the Bat was the symbol for rebirth and change. Bats as totems also represent an ability to discern the hidden messages and implications of other people’s words. Listen as much to what is not being said. Trust your instincts. The nose is the organ of discrimination, and with its sonar located in its nose, the bat reflects the ability to discriminate and discern the truth in other people’s words. I am fully on this path. I leave for Mexico City for next few weeks to see friends and take another leap in the photography world. Changes…..

I am always happy to slow down enough and birdwatch when my friend Bruce comes to town. The ever popular “BIRDING AND YOGA” group just ended a fantastic week of honoring their bodies and birds. Im not so up for the yoga.. but had a blast bringing the group out to access birds in the nearby areas. A list of this weeks highlights is coming soon. We absolutely are one the finest birding areas in the world! I want to thank Pat and Bonnie at Ranch Primavero for allowing us to visit their amazing property. Hot tip… if your looking for an overnight with a emphasis on nature, check out their casitas for rent. If interested contact me.
