Healed!
Well friends..here’s a little story…because I think there is no possible other way I can explain this foto! A lifetime ago I was living full-time in Yelapa. After many years of jungle life and many years of not wearing shoes I came down with a massive infection that caused my leg to grow the size of a small elephant. My family rushed me to the big city vallarta doctor and spent days in the hospital and nearly six months recovering in casa. Years past and a few times each year I would get a flareup and basically learned to manage the pain and overall ugliness of my legs. Believe me it wasn’t fun…and shitty for my self image! I had no option but to just know I would deal with his my entire life. Well about a month ago while on a fotosesion I had another attack. I didn’t figure it out right way and spent a few bad hours curled on a floor and then floating in a pool trying to decide if I was about to die. I admit Im a terrible patient! I just wanted to be centered while I decided if the attack was in control or could I control it…long story but three miserable days in bed and I decided I was either having a stroke or almost dead. I called my mother in law who is a curandera in yelapa. I asked about solutions and for advice. a side note….my mother in law has just been cured of a super intense case of cancer! by the luck of God.. the very same doctor from Guadalajara was here in Vallarta seeing patients that day! The next morning I met with Pedro Morena Garcia and his assistant Gris. quickly they diagnosed with clogged a clogged artery and asked if I wanted to get rid of it….still not a believer… I accepted. They injected me on both sides of the artery at the exact same time. They also injected me with a drug to clean out the plaque virtually flushing out my artery. I was given a bottle of some amazing gel filled with herbs and all things good. By morning the swelling was almost gone. the next day another 30 percent and a week later my leg was better than it ever was! I am still in shock! After being in pain for many years i am healed! My Legs are pain free and normal in size!
Today a month later and now Im the official fan club president for my doctor and his assistant! I had plans to be in Yelapa today to photograph my inlaws rental and my casita palapita with my business partner Joel. After the shoot we visited and began my visit with the doctor. Another sidenote …we had also tasted a number of shots of my father in laws special raicilla named “chareca”.. for business purposes of course. The entire visit had a very special vibe. For this of you that dont know I was in a longtime relationship with a local yelapa woman with four amazing kids. After years and cultural differences we parted. For the next few years I was super depressed and sad. I really though I would spend my entire life with them. Over the first few years we stayed connected by at a very large distance ..especially emotionally. Once again.. I was terrible at that. Spent many a night thinking and thinking and thinking. Well today the entire family including her new husband were there during the shoot and doctors visit. I truly was partly healed today by being able to love and laugh with them..almost like our past life. It was like today we moved to another stage in our relationship. One other thing super cool was to able to experience this with my new business partner present.
The doctor is really quite unorthodox. He started hooking me un to a small computer and wiring me up (see foto) after 15 minutes the assistant came over and put these homemade yelapa goggles on me and added a bridal veil for fun…and of course a great foto moment. All this was to just take my mind off the treatment… this is the best of bedside manner. I then was setup with an iv and number of drugs were added to my body. The idea today was a complete check up and within minutes he could tell me how it all was working. The part hard to explain is this…mostly because its unusual. He asked which i wanted … MORE RAICILLA OR BEER? The plan was to administer another drug that he wanted to go quickly through the system and beer is an amazing diuretic. So after a few glasses of beer with special additives he sat and explained what was up with my body with detailed explanation and the whole time taking into account the exact amount of alcohol I had drinken. Like I didn’t know.. I need to lose weight. jejejje hell 70 pounds would be the best.. but 30 is a better number for me to swallow. Never did he lecture me or make feel like shit. It turns out the diabetes I thought I had (along with much of mexico) wasn’t that… and overall Im in good shape.. just fat. Next Joel joined in the fun and got hooked up to the hyper ipod/computer gadget… His diagnosis was head on and we looked at each other in amazement as the doctor explained his exact issue that we had recently talked about his health. Pedro Moreno Garcia has figured out how to treat the body with precision and is able to get immediate results! Fucking Amazing!
