World wide there are 25000 different species of beetles… we have a number of very cool ones here in Yelapa. This is the Elephant Beetle and one that gets a great reaction , due to it’s size…ps…harmless…

Besides Jack’s new boat with backrests and a free beer.. the 5:30 pm departure from Los Muertos offers some fine sunset photos. Jack, often the underdog in the water taxi game is all about having roundtrip tickets to travel on his wild ride.
just as you arrive to Chacala you pass the rancho of Senor Guillermo Gordian. A lover of women, animals and nature. We stop and visit the ranch to see what fruits are in season. His Son Fidencio is our good friend in Pizota.
