I was parked on the road above Boca, when the restaurant owner asked if I wanted fish. No… I replied but he wanted me to see it. I’m so glad I did! I sat there with my mouth wide open.. one of the largest fish I have ever seen!! He said it was called “turbina” but I find no reference to that name and checked numberous corvina’s and they are different. So… someone shout out the name! It weighed about 130 lbs. and with a beautiful gold sheen. Imagine his shock as he brought this baby in with a hand line just out of the mouth of the Rio in Boca.
