This was by far the most extreme treatment and yet yielded the biggest reduction of the swelling of my leg. A local woman cleans the toad, with a local handmade soap and then oils the belly and rubs the toad all over the entire leg. The toad is then cleaned and released. The next day the swelling was down by a quarter!

so sorry to hear about your leg. we hope you are feeling better. oscar and ruby talk about you all the time (so do we I suppose). thank you so much for making such a memorable vacation. we miss yelapa and hope to come back soon!
