other visitors
This week we had some other visitors… These have no head, brain, heart, eyes, nor ears and no bones, either. Give up? Jellyfish… the best precautions are to look at the shoreline before entering the water. If stung… the best thing to do is come to my office where I have a stash of cider vinegar. Putting fresh water on the sting only releases more poisons. Within minutes, you’ll be better or you will know you are having an allergic reaction and I’ll pass you directions to the clinic..

Putting warm lemon juice mixed with baking soda on your arm after being stung will remove the cnidocytes. Let the mixture dry, then carefully scrape the solution off the arm with the edge of a sharp knife.
