Thursday nights sky was truly amazing. I snapped this photo at 9pm. All of Yelapa was without power for a few days, as a tree fell on the bridge and took out a power pole and line. Have you ever seen a power pole replaced by hand? Quite a sight! The tough part of not having power especially at night is the lack of a fan and the mosquitos. I got eaten pretty bad. You can’t sleep in a net as it is too hot and or coverup with a sheet, so you are basically free game to them. I will heal. On the same note, I am a bit beat up from my recent car accident, pain in funny little places. I also have an earache coming on from swimming close to the river. Ahh, the Joys of Yelapa Life.
