poncho’s paradise
This morning I took a walk with Jose to Pancho’s, Casa Parota, located high above Yelapa. It was a hike filled with good story and wonderful views. All thats left of the round tarped casa is a small kitchen, bodega and a base. The rest blew away in the hurricane, a few years past. If someone out there is looking for a mountain with wonderful views and privacy, Jose is more than happy to talk to you. Afterwards Paloma and I swam , on the point and sat in the creek for a bit to cool off and to reflect on my currently swamped life here in paradise,.. all is good.

I have been reading about Yelapa on your amazing wesite. I particularly enjoyed the vision of the hike to Casa Parota. We have been searching for a winter spot for three years now and have been focused on the Yucatan, but feel it is abit much development wise. Can you tell me how to contact Jose and find out more about his palapa. I appreciate your effort.
