tech and the tropics

While I am the first to admit to loving having my tech lifestyle here in Yelapa, I’m not sure they mix! This past few weeks, my wireless basestation, my computer speakers, and my new digital recorder for making remote podcasts, all died suddenly. Another webmaster’s computer died and a local network specialist’s computer decided to die. One other friend is in the middle of trying to explain to Telmex that their phone lines have problems. The list goes on… Thank God, we have friends/clients coming to visit every week from The USA and Canada. On a positive note, both the above mentioned tech pros have decided to change to Mac from PC. That makes 15 Mac users in all of México.
